Alumni, donors and friends play a vital role in supporting the mission of the School of Engineering and its academic and research programs. We invite you to share your interests, ask questions, and help us reconnect with former students.
Alumni are a vital part of the School of Engineering and UNM communities. There are myriad opportunities for you to get involved as an alumnus—participating in UNM and SOE events, serving as a volunteer coordinator for alumni events, mentoring students or serving as a visiting lecturer in classes. Make a difference—get involved!
Your support of the UNM School of Engineering is key to our quest of providing high quality education to all who desire it. The staff of both the Development Office at the School of Engineering and at The University of New Mexico Foundation are available and accessible to help you make a gift that best matches your interests and the needs of the institution. Our commitment is to be available to help you make a difference through your generosity. Each and every gift will enhance our ability to attract and maintain the best and brightest students and faculty to the UNM School of Engineering.
Welcome, UNM School of Engineering parents! Your child's years at the School of Engineering are likely to be some of the best of their lives. We look forward to establishing strong ties with you and look forward to getting to know you.
The UNM Parent Web site provides the latest news about academic programs, campus events, student activities, health, and research. You can subscribe to their monthly electronic newsletter and/or participate in the UNM forum where parents post and respond to messages about transitioning to college, finances, study abroad, and more. Parent Relations hosts monthly workshops on topics of importance to both prospective and current parents and families. Parent Relations assists with family-oriented campus events, hosts Family Weekend and a summer Parent Experience Program for parents of students entering 9th through 11th grades.
