SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS

The School of Engineering (SOE) offers a variety of scholarships to its students from federal, private or corporate funding sources.

For Incoming Freshman and all other Undergraduate Students: these SOE scholarships usually supplement any other general scholarship received at the university level (e.g. Lottery, Regents, Presidential, Amigo, etc.)

For graduate students: these SOE scholarships could help supplement graduate level fellowships or assistantships (e.g. Reseach/Teaching/Project Assistantships), however, these scholarship are not intended to pay for graduate school. Graduate students are encouraged to contact directly the respective academic departments to inquire about available graduate assistantships.

NOTE: To be considered for any of the SOE scholarships, all students must be officially admitted (or be admissible) into the SOE at the time of application for the scholarship. Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements which vary according to the funding sources. In addition, many scholarships may require demonstrated financial need which is established through a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
